Mathew Holladay
President
Mathew Holladay is the President of Paths. Prior to Paths, Mathew was the Chairman and Managing Partner of a prominent property management firm as well as CEO and Managing Director of a safety and security company. Mathew spent nearly a decade working in real estate investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Jefferies where he focused on strategic advisory assignments, M&A, IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private financings. He advised or executed on deals totaling more than $20 billion over the course of his tenure. Prior to his business career, Mathew served as an officer and Ranger in the U.S. Army with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and participated in numerous combat and peacekeeping missions throughout Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, to include the initial invasion of Iraq in March of 2003 where he received the Bronze Star for his actions in combat. Mathew graduated as a distinguished cadet with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina.

Christopher Moore
Chief Financial Officer
Christopher Moore serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Paths. Prior to joining Paths, Chris served as the Senior Vice President of Accounting at C+C Apartment Management, where he led a team of 45 individuals and spearheaded numerous initiatives to optimize financial reporting and streamline processes. Christopher’s background also extends to affordable housing in which he’s closely familiar with HUD and LIHTC processes and deals and has extensive experience in property and corporate accounting. Chris received his Bachelor’s from Fordham University in Applied Accounting and Finance and holds a Master of Business Administration, Concentration in Accounting from Fairfield University.

Jenny Rondello | Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Jenny Rondello is the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Paths. She has over 30 years of Human Resources and Payroll experience and has primarily worked in the real estate industry. She is responsible for all facets of the human resources strategy, which includes talent management, onboarding, benefits, learning and development, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. Jenny specializes in navigating leadership and all levels of employees through the complexities of Human Resources matters and organizational change. She serves as a strategic partner and business advisor who aligns our Corporate strategies with business objectives. Prior to joining Paths , Jenny worked for the Lefrak Organization for over 15 years, where she held various roles, from Payroll Administrator to Human Resources Director. During her time at Lefrak, she supported all divisions of the Commercial, Residential, Development, and Energy Departments. Jenny earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Queens College and her Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University. She holds the Professional in Human Resources Certificate (PHR), an OSHA 10 Certification, and is a Society for Human Resource Management member.

Bryan Kaplan
General Counsel
Bryan is the General Counsel of Paths. Prior to joining the company in 2018, Bryan was Executive Agency Counsel at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), where he worked on new construction and rehabilitation financings, real property conveyances and other agency matters. He also was the designated attorney for HPD’s asset management division. Bryan previously spent fifteen years practicing at large international law firms, as Of Counsel at Paul Hastings and at Debevoise & Plimpton, and as a law clerk to two federal judges in the Southern District of New York. Bryan holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law (Harlan Fiske Stone scholar), a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College. He is an active member of the New York City Bar Association’s Housing and Urban Development Committee.

Fermin Garcia | Executive VP and Head of Property Management
Fermin Garcia, CPM®, currently serves as Head of Property Management at Paths and has over 25 years of property management experience. Prior to joining the company in 2016, Fermin held the position of General Manager with the very active developer / owner LeFrak Organization for the 600-acre mixed-use waterfront community known as Newport on the Jersey City waterfront, where he was centrally involved in the development of new construction high-rise rental and condominium buildings, as well as the management operation of the entire residential portfolio, of approximately 10,000 units. Previously Fermin held multistate Regional and District management positions for approximately 10-years with AIMCO and with National Housing Partnerships (“NHP”). Fermin holds the CPM® designation from IREM, has a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, a B.A. from Lehman College, and is most proud of having served in the U.S. Navy for 10-years, 4-years aboard a submarine tender in Guam.

Myron Horbachevsky | Executive Vice President of Compliance
Myron Horbachevsky is Executive Vice President of Compliance at Paths and has over 30 years’ experience in property management and affordable housing program compliance. Myron has managed corporate and site compliance operations for residential properties in 20 states including a full range of federal, state, and local affordable housing programs, including: HUD Section 8, HUD Section 236, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, tax-exempt bond, HOPE VI, HUD RAD, Mitchell Lama, and NYC Rent Stabilization. Prior to Paths, Myron led compliance operations for Related Management Co. and worked in real estate finance at Bankers Trust Company. Myron also served on active duty with the U.S. Navy for eight years involved in fleet and U.N. Peacekeeping operations. Myron received his BBS-Accounting degree from Baruch College.

Kenneth Spillberg
Head of Development
Ken Spillberg is Head of Development for Paths. Prior to joining the organization in 2019 as Senior Vice President, Ken was the Director of Mixed-Income Programs for New Construction at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), where he originated over $750 million in loans for the development of over 5,500 apartments for low and moderate-income families. Before HPD, Ken was a Senior Project Manager at Westhab, Inc. where he managed the development of multifamily homes for seniors and families suffering with mental illness in Westchester, NY. Additionally, Ken worked as an Analyst at RSG Consulting in Santa Ana, CA, where he created and evaluated affordable housing financing proposals and acted as fiscal agent for California cities that were issuing tax allocation bonds. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University as well as Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from UC Irvine.

Anna Weiss
Director of Development
Anna is a Director of Development at Paths where she has managed a variety of real estate transactions totaling more than $750 million. Prior to joining the company, Anna was a Development Associate at John M. Corcoran & Company, a market-rate, multi-family residential development firm. While at John M. Corcoran & Company, Anna worked on ground-up construction projects with development costs exceeding $130 million as well as refinancings, dispositions, and recapitalizations with transaction values totaling more than $175 million. Before transitioning into real estate, Anna worked at the literary consultancy, Idea Platforms, Inc., where she collaborated on more than 15 non-fiction trade books, which were acquired by Random House, HarperCollins, and other major publishers. Anna received a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.

Max Zarin
Director of Development
Max has a career-spanning focus on executing large-scale, complex real estate development projects that transform communities for the better. Prior to joining Paths, Max spent six years at the Hudson Companies, leading housing development projects with a total development cost of over $400 million. He brings expertise in the full lifecycle of development for affordable housing preservation and new construction alike. Outside of housing, Max has also led regional real estate acquisition and development for CloudKitchens, a food and beverage start-up. He began his career as an economic development and urban planning consultant for HR&A Advisors, Inc. before transitioning into real estate development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School.

Abdulla Darrat | Head of Construction Management Services
Abdulla is the Executive Director of Construction Management Services and has directed over $500 million of ground-up and occupied-rehabilitation construction projects. Prior to Paths, Abdulla served as the President of Renewal Construction and worked as the Vice President of Development, where Abdulla used his multidisciplinary background in architecture, construction, urban planning, finance, and community development to lead the acquisition and development of large-scale affordable housing projects throughout the United States. Abdulla has also worked at Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, a non-profit community development corporation that provides a comprehensive range of programs, including the development of affordable housing, to the East New York Community in Brooklyn. Abdulla received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin and a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard University. He also spent a year in Morocco as a Fulbright scholar.

Jackie Betancourt
Executive Vice President of Construction Operations
Jackie Betancourt serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Paths Construction, where she leads all aspects of the company's operational activities. Her responsibilities encompass supervising staff, managing trade contracts, overseeing budgets, and administering contractor payments to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Before joining Paths, Jackie held the role of Executive Vice President at Renewal Construction from 2006 onward, where she was key in steering the company's operations and growth. Earlier in her career, Jackie was the Manager of Contract Administration within the Construction Department of a national commercial chain from 1998 to 2006. In this position, she provided robust financial and project controls, oversaw contract administration, managed monitoring and reporting for the company's annual $40 million U.S. capital construction program and facility asset management.

Pierre Burnett
Director of Information Technology
Pierre Burnett currently serves as the Director of Information Technology at Paths and has over 20 years of IT experience. Prior to joining Paths, He worked for New Hope Community, Inc., serving as Senior Director of Information Technology and Security, overseeing modernization initiatives across 31 sites, including enterprise cloud migration to Microsoft Azure, enhanced cybersecurity architecture, and cost-saving vendor optimization. Before joining New Hope, Pierre held leadership roles at Merlin Entertainments (LEGOLAND New York), PCSB Bank, and the West Point Association of Graduates. A U.S. Army veteran, he began his career in network communications, earning formal training at the U.S. Army Signal School at Fort Gordon. Pierre holds a B.S. in Information Technology from SUNY Empire State College and professional certifications in MCSA, Microsoft Server Virtualization, and ITIL v4 Foundation.

Michael Giloni
Executive Vice President of Security Technology
Michael Giloni is an acclaimed IT professional with a specialty in video surveillance technology. As Vice President of Security Technology, he oversees all security technology and installations. His hands-on approach ensures a smooth transition from site assessment, to design, to installation, to maintenance and monitoring. Previously, Michael was IT Manager at Sensitron Semiconductor, a high-reliability hardware manufacturer, where he designed and implemented the IT infrastructure for a new manufacturing facility. He was also Manager of Software Development at a surveillance software/hardware manufacturer, and oversaw the commissioning of many large surveillance systems for government and corporate clients. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Stony Brook University.
